We carefully craft sound and music for a range of projects,
as well as offering mixes for moments of quiet.
We invite DJs from across the globe to produce hour-long mixes to support moments of quiet. Trying to move away from the clichés of ambient music for meditation and mindfulness, we explore the territory more openly, drawing inspiration from experimental, folk, electronic, choral, modern classical and the niches of sound-making activity that often go unnoticed. You can listen to our mixes here:
We compose and produce music for a variety of projects, including outdoor events, audio trails, museum exhibits, headphone experiences, community performances and media productions. Previous clients include The Woodland Trust, The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, Nature Nurture, Intelligent Health, Festive Road and The Annual Daydream Harvest. Get in touch to discuss how we may be able to support your projects.
Through work with a range of organisations Small Silence have developed the experience and skills to deliver imaginative, high quality, bespoke sound works. Our team can engage in experimental recording, capturing people and environments in the field, studio-based foley FX and studio voiceovers, as well as live performances. From these recordings, we craft the sound to create engaging pieces that capture the imagination of the listener.
