we work with partners to develop tranquillity trails, digital oral history initiatives and quiet space online.

tranquillity trails

We develop immersive tranquillity trails encouraging people to take exercise while appreciating the peace available to us on our doorsteps.

histories of quiet

slow media for patient wellbeing

We tackle loneliness and social isolation through our history of quiet project. We use oral history to build friendships both in-person and through online community interactions. This work contributes to research helping us to better understand our changing experience of time spent in quiet.

We are working with arts and mental health groups to create a menu of 'slow media' pieces for patients to access through iPads at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
